What is the cancellation policy?
It rains often in Seattle so we keep all tours operating regardless of the weather. Fortunately, a good deal of the tour is covered.
Fury friends are not recommended, as they aren’t allowed in many parts of the market. You’ll have to wait outside which defeats the purpose.
You may bring your children as we leave it up to the parent to make the judgment as to whether they will enjoy this type of activity. Children 3 and under who will not be eating, do not need to buy a ticket.
Yes, kids may join the tours. We leave it up to the parents to make the judgement as to whether or not this it is an activity they would enjoy. Learning and tasting is for everyone!
The two-hour tour consists of 9 stops and several different small bites. Many people consider this a meal.
The one-hour version consists of 4-5 stops and is just a small taste of Pike Place.
*note that we have 16 vendors and different guides have different routes depending on the day of the week and time of day.
We do not recommend this tour for those who are dairy free, vegan or gluten free.
Not all tastings contain gluten or dairy. We can’t accommodate these restrictions for all food samples but will do our best to make substitutions where we can. Please notify us in advance so that we can plan accordingly.
Eat Seattle can accommodate vegetarians but we cannot make substitutions for other dietary restrictions. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance of your tour if you will need vegetarian substitutions.
Yes, there are public restrooms available in the market but they aren’t always on the route of the tour. We recommend you go before you arrive to the starting point.
Absolutely, the Food Tours of Pike Place Market are designed to uncover the story of the Northwest through food. Locals will gain food and history knowledge along the way.
Food Tours meet outside of Simply Seattle located at 1600 First Ave, Seattle. Please arrive 10 minutes before your event starts. This is at Pine and First about one block from Pike Place Market.
If it is raining, feel free to grab a cup of coffee inside Seattle Coffee Works next door and meet the tour guide outside when he/she arrives.
It is a requirement that anyone eating on the tour pays full price.
All tours must be booked through the eatseattletours.com website.
Gratuities are appreciated for all tours.
